Herend Rothschild Bird Dinner Plate No.4 10.5 in RO----01524-0-04
This pattern was created in 1860 to honor the Rothschild family of Europe. The pattern has twelve different motifs that are applied on over 80 different shapes and sizes of porcelain items in a most attractive and symmetrical manner. Each image hand painted by most experienced painters, has one item common; a lost necklace, as the legend goes, of Baroness Rothschild, that was picked up by the birds and were playing with it in a tree.
Hand painted with 24-kt gold on durable hard paste porcelain body. Dishwasher safe.
